Well the first week got off to a great start. Even though most of the people that signed up were not there due to other commitments, it rocked. Derek and Charlie did show up and Ken put them through a great workout. Diet, exercise and techniques were discussed and the 2 juniors worked hard on some great moves.
Next week will be new stuff with a review for those that could not make it.
IF you still want to sign up, you can do so this week but after Saturday it will be too late.

Well...the second week was even better than the first. Ken really hit his stride using Derek as the example to the others. More people hit the mat this week as Ken was heard to exclaim - "Don't be wussies, this is wrestling!". Takedowns and the openings for locks and holds were the order of the day and even some speculation on the reasons behind the rules of Greco-Roman wrestling.
WOW....this is getting good!!
P.S. We missed you Charlie....hope you won!!

I ran week 4 and it went great. While not everyone was there, we did have 4 people and that was awesome. We did some cool takedowns and arm bars. And spent half the class freestyle and collar & elbow wrestling using eveything learned so far!!
Fun was was had by all!!

Wic came back for week 5 and everyone had a blast. Double wrist locks for all. At the end of class everyone wrestled to submission.

Well....for those of you that did not attend the final 2 weeks you missed a lot of wrestling AND a lot of fun!!
The final class was attended by Derek, Mark, Joe, Krystal, Debbie and Wic. Mark out did himself in proving he can take you down with perfect technique if you underestimate him. Derek proved that while he is still on top he is humble enough to congratulate Mark for going the distance with him.
2 great kids - 2 great wrestlers. I wish everyone who had signed up could have been there to see it....
All in all, I would like to thank Derek, Mark, Charlie, CJ and Jerry for participating. It was a fun and event filled 8 weeks.
